Large floor plan with two dining areas and lots of room to relax and entertain, both inside and out. Private NEW dock with kayaks and room for yard games. BBQ and enjoy the quiet by the fire pit or look for resident bald eagles and otters. The warmth of the wood and quiet surrounding will make you sleep soundly. Please note the water is shallow around the dock and great for kids and pets. Large gatherings are not permitted, maximum occupancy is 10 and booking guest must be main contact on site.

Summary: We had a great stay at this property in Draper during our family spring break trip, which also included a tour of Virginia Tech. The location was perfect—less than an hour drive to campus. The home was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. It was a great base for both exploring the area and spending quality time together as a family. And the dogs absolutely loved the yard! Overall, a very positive experience—we’d definitely stay here again!

Summary: The house was such a treat! We stayed for my son's graduation from VA TECH. It was close enough for an easy commute but far enough that we didn't have to deal with noisy parties. The house is beautiful and had plenty of room for us to gather together or seek out some privacy. Shower in master bedroom was 10 out of 10! The pool table kept people entertained, while the kitchen was a delight to work in.

Summary: Our family started our Christmas vacation on the 23rd and stayed until the 26th. Tim’s home is cozy and beautiful. The lake is so pleasing to look at and all of the beautiful trees with wildlife running about. My dog loved the big yard and was exhausted every evening from exercise. Everything we needed to make this trip perfect was there! Will definitely be back!

Summary: A spacious home in a perfect setting. Thoughtfully furnished for large groups. The setting is serene and peaceful with lots to do in the immediate vicinity. Really enjoyed Draper Mercantile, the new ice cream shoppe and the Spinning Jenny Winery, all within five minutes. Deer everywhere you look in the mornings. Would definitely recommend and book again.

Summary: This is my second time at Tim’s place and we NEVER go to the same place twice but this is the exception. Fantastic location. Very well equipped. Comfortable beds and furniture. Excellent communication with Tim. I’d stay here again!

Summary: Beautiful home with spectacular views. The home has everything to make a stay comfortable with thoughtful touches that make you feel at home. The owner provided a clean, entertaining family experience for my wife, 20 year old daughter, and myself with memories that will last a lifetime. It was a peaceful escape from the chaos of the DC region.

Summary: House was very nice and clean. The porches, particularly the screened in porch were very nice. Access to the lake was good for paddleboarders but the deck was in very poor condition. We were most disappointed with the stove, small appliances (toaster oven, waffles maker) and outside grill. All were filthy. Owner did come in to clean the stove and grill, but we did not use outside grill as it was questionable. Cooking utensils were in poor condition, glad we brought some of our own. The microwave had no lighted indicators so you guessed about power and time. the stove had one burner control that was loose so control was questionable. Also would appreciate a full hand railing going down to lower level. One member of our group has some difficulty walking and the handrail did not go all the way to the bottom floor requiring holding onto wall to get down.
